We require a non-refundable 25% retainer of the venue rental fee to secure your wedding date.
The final balance of the contract is due one week prior to the event date.
In the event that you need to reschedule your date, we will transfer your deposit to a new available date of your choosing.
Event insurance is required with the rental of the venue. If you don’t have a preferred insurance company, we offer several online options to choose from, with starting costs at $125. If alcohol is present, Host Liquor Liability insurance is required.
One of the greatest freedoms included with Blue Door Venue is the ability to choose your own caterer. Every caterer operates differently and offers their own unique amenities. To ensure the safety of your guests, we do require that the caterer is a licensed, insured, commercial food vendor. Please note that potluck-style food service is not allowed.
Clients are welcome to provide their own non-alcoholic beverages such as sodas, sparkling water, etc. Due to specific New Mexico alcohol regulations, we will work closely with you to discuss your options—whether you’re planning a host bar or a cash bar. Our goal is to ensure that you and your guests have a fantastic time while adhering to the necessary guidelines.
Yes! We have partnered with some of the best vendors in our area! We only provide our Preferred Vendors List to clients after they have booked their event with us.

If a date is marked as “booked,” it means the venue is reserved for that day. To secure your preferred date, a signed agreement and deposit are required—unfortunately, we’re unable to hold dates or notify you if someone else is interested.

Southern New Mexico enjoys beautiful weather almost year-round, making it an ideal location for weddings in any season. However, our peak wedding season months are April, May, June, August, September, October, and November. The remainder of the year is considered off-peak season, and wedding packages are offered at a discounted price during this time.
Our Blue Door Room accommodates up to 150 guests with table seating and up to 150 guests with theater seating. The Brick Studio offers a cozy setting for up to 60 guests with table seating and up to 145 guests with theater seating. For outdoor celebrations, our Courtyard and adjacent breezeway areas can host up to 150 guests, creating a welcoming and spacious atmosphere for your special day.
Staff is available Tuesday through Friday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. If you would like to tour the facility, please book a tour, the property is shown by appointment only.
Events can be booked seven days a week between the hours of 8:00am-Midnight.
Yes, there is onsite parking, including handicap parking, to accommodate up to 150 guests.
Blue Door Venue is a smoke-free facility. However, we do have a designated outdoor area for guests who wish to smoke or use e-cigarettes. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited within the property or courtyard.
The venue can be booked for an hourly rate of $50/hour for photo sessions or styled shoots. A booking is required 2 weeks in advance. For inquiries, please contact Roxanne at [email protected]. Do not enter the property for photos without permission, it is private property and legal action may be taken for trespassing.
